An update regarding the 2020 IAC summer Hackathon.
Dear Families,
I hope all of you are safe and healthy in these difficult times. As you are aware, IAC has canceled all the onsite events since the coronavirus outbreak.
Due to the worsening situation, we regret to inform you that the 2020 IAC summer Hackathon has been postponed until further notice. We know this comes with great disappointment to our teens who find meaning and connection from being together and gaining new skills and knowledge.
We are working on a virtual Hackathon instead and we will share more information soon. In the meantime, please join Eitanim activities online for an innovative experience: IAChome.org/Teens
While we couldn’t recoup all of our expenses associated with this event, we believe it is the right thing to offer a full refund for the amount that you paid. That being said, we hope you will consider the needs of IAC and its employees during this difficult time by making a tax-deductible donation in the amount of the fee (or a portion of it) to IAC.
Should you choose to be reimbursed, you will receive the amount that you paid via the original form of payment. If you registered multiple teens, please submit one form for each teen.
Please reply to this email and let us know whether you would like to be reimbursed (partially or fully) or donate the fees to IAC. Your donation will be greatly appreciated. As always, we are grateful to work in such a committed community and know that we will make it through this challenging time together!
Sincerely,
Liron Alrod
