Matan Yeshurun, B.Sc, holds a bachelor’s degree in Software and Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He’s an experienced Software Engineer who currently works as the lead engineer at Kumbaya, an innovative start-up company which aims to make a huge impact on the Royalty-Free Music industry. Matan also conducts engineering consultation offering engineering process improvement for businesses.

Prior to that he worked at Elbit Systems (NASDAQ: ESLT), an international top 50 defense and aerospace systems manufacturer, where he was a Software Engineer. In this role, he directed the implementation of several software applications and features, providing powerful engineering process improvement for the company’s empowerment innovation plan. He served in an elite intelligence unit in the Israeli Defence Forces where he developed state of the art intelligence software applications for top-secret operations until his discharge with merit. 

Matan is passionate about developing technologies that change users lives, and transforming seemingly crazy ideas into reality. In his free time he enjoys food — both cooking and eating, workouts, snowboarding and scuba diving.
