Barak, filmmaker, was born in 1976 in Yedidia Village in the north of
Israel. He has been directing and producing documentaries for TV
and cinema for more than a decade. Barak and his brother Tomer
founded an independent film company, Heymann Brothers Films,
through which they have have been producing over 20 original
documentaries, as well international co-productions. Their films have premiered in
numerous festivals worldwide, such as Berlinale, IDFA and Hotdocs, where they have
won prestigious awards. Barak teaches in several films schools in Israel. Barak is the
producer of the film Mr. Gaga which will be screened soon at New York Jewish Film
Festival Lincoln Center Jewish Film Festival - Film Society of Lincoln Center.
