As Israeli-Americans, we have a unique interest in the security of our home, the United States, and our homeland, Israel. Having reviewed the points released in the agreement between the P5+1 and Iran, it appears that on July 14th, 2015, our world became a more dangerous place. We support the deep diplomatic efforts to resolve this global threat, however we are gravely concerned that the deal excuses Iran's deceptive attempts to achieve nuclear capability and legitimizes Iran's aspirations to become a nuclear regional superpower.
This deal would spur a nuclear arms race in the Middle East, increase Iran's support of terrorism, free up $150 billion that Iran can use to fund its militant proxies around the world, and undermine and threaten regional allies. This deal does not solve the Iran nuclear problem. It paves the way for Iran to develop nuclear arms in future years, while strengthening its economic and military infrastructure. It is not something to which we can or should agree.
The world's security is not a partisan issue. Democrats and Republicans alike have expressed their sincere concerns over the Iran deal. In the Israeli Parliament, all major parties, both from the coalition and opposition have firmly opposed it. Furthermore, U.S. allies across the Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia and Egypt, have warned against it. Now is the time to come together and encourage our leadership to critically review all details of the agreement to ensure that Iran is prevented from attaining a nuclear weapon.
We join AIPAC and urge lawmakers to use the time granted by the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act to carefully assess any deal that is presented, and to use the five minimum requirements as the standard by which to measure the agreement before deciding to support or oppose it.
1. Inspections and Verification: A good deal must support "anytime, anywhere" inspections - including all military facilities - to verify Iranian compliance.
2. Military Dimensions: Iran must fully explain its prior weaponization efforts.
3. Sanctions: Sanctions relief must commence only after Iran complies with its commitments and be unwound slowly to maintain leverage.
4. Duration: Iran's nuclear weapons quest must be blocked for generations.
5. Dismantlement: Iran must dismantle its nuclear infrastructure such that it has no path to a nuclear weapon.
We urge Congress to act in the best interest of the American people and the global community.

אנו מצטרפים לאיפא"ק ודוחקים במחוקקים להשתמש בזמן שהוקצב לקונגרס להעריך את ההסכם המוצג ולהשתמש בחמשת הדרישות המינימליות כסטנדרטים שבאמצעותם ניתן יהיה לשקול את טיב ההסכם:
- בחינה ואימות - "עסקה טובה" תאפשר גישה ובדיקה של כל המתקנים הצבאיים של איראן בכל מקום ובכל זמן
- המימד הצבאי - איראן חייבת להסביר את מאמצי החימוש הקודמים שלה
- סנקציות - הקלה וביטול הסנקציות חייבות להיות בהדרגה ורק לאחר שתבחן מידת המחוייבות והעמידה של איראן בהסכם
- מימד הזמן - מירוץ החימוש הגרעיני של איראן חייב להיות מנוטרל לדורות
- פירוק מנשק - איראן חייבת לפרק את התשתית הגרעינית שלה כך שלא תהיה בידה אפשרות לפתח נשק גרעיני בעתיד
אנו קוראים לקונגרס לפעול למען האינטרס הכללי של אזרחי ארה"ב והקהילה הבינלאומית.
