Asher works for Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, managing the Israel outreach program, and overseeing the engagement with the Fairfax cybersecurity business community. Asher lives in Chevy Chase, MD with his wife Robyn, and their two sons, and they are members of Kol Shalom Congregation in Rockville.
Previously, Asher served on the board of George Mason Hillel, in Fairfax, VA, and was a member of the regional board of NIF, when he and his family lived in in San Francisco, CA. Asher worked for 13 years in Silicon Valley and for various US and Israeli technology companies.
Asher grow-up in Kibbutz Alonim, Israel, and served in the IDF Paratroopers Brigade. Asher has obtained a B.A degree in Political Science from Tel Aviv University and an MBA degree from San Francisco State University.
