Yoni (Jonathan) was born in Seattle, WA during his Father’s Emissary post and continued to alternate living in Israel throughout his childhood. Yoni is a resourceful and passionate senior nonprofit manager, with 20 years’ experience in community engagement. He served as CEO of Bat Hefer Municipality (Yeshuv Kehilati) and as CEO of community centers in Israel (Matnasim). At his prior position, he worked as a Senior Advisor at Shdemot Center for Community Engagement (Oranim College), where he trained and coached nonprofit leaders.
Yoni has always been an activist. He served as Chairman of Beit HaLevi Village Local Committee, as a Board Member of Emek Hefer Regional Council and Chairman of Gas Facilities Campaign in Emek Hefer. Yoni graduated Tel Aviv University with a Master’s Degree in Public policy and holds a Bachelor Degree as well in Jewish Studies from Gratz College. Yoni currently resides in Philadelphia where he and his wife are raising their three children. In his free time, Yoni loves to travel, camp and hike.
