Dana Hollander

Council Member, Orange County

Born in Israel and raised in Haifa, Dana Hollander served as a captain in the IDF, where she met her husband, Yossie. They divide their time between Israel and the United States and have three children and three grandchildren.

The Hollanders dedicate time and money to philanthropic organizations in Israel and the U.S. in the areas of Holocaust remembrance and education, science research and education, fighting anti-Semitism, and more.

Hollander feels privileged and proud to have been a board member of the Merage JCC for the past eight years, and now to be serving on the board of JCC Association. She is also a member of the board of visitors of Chapman University's Rodgers Center for Holocaust Education.

Hollander has a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Tel Aviv University.
