Guy Golan was born in Israel, the oldest of 5 boys (triplets and twins!) Guy was a youth consular at the Labor Youth Movement (Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed) throughout his middle and high school years. Guy served in the Nachal as a medic and commander. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and Middle Eastern Studies from Ben Gurion University.

During his college studies guy interned at Member of Parliament Shelly Yechimovich's offices at Knesset Israel and later on became the coordinator of the internship program for Ben Gurion university. Guy is living with his wife in Manhattan since 2016.
