Ruthie Bashan, ATR-BC, joined the board of the IAC NJ in 2017. Ruthie has been active in the Israeli American community since she moved to the States in 2000. Her first contribution was with the Israeli scouts, were she established two chapters in N.J. (in Fairlawn and in Metrowest). Next, in 2006, she started working in Nitzanim School- an afternoon Israeli Hebrew school, first as a teacher and then as a principal, a position she held for nearly ten years.
Nowadays Ruthie is serving as a board member both in Nitzanim school and The IAC NJ. In addition to her community work, Ruthie is a certified art therapist and is working with children, adolescents, and the elderly.
