Amir is an Alexandria, VA resident where his management consulting firm focused on technology in aviation is located. Amir is a board member of the Washington D.C. Israeli American Council (IAC) and an active member of the Beth El Congregation in Alexandria.
Prior to living in VA, Amir has spent nearly 14 years in the Bay Area, CA where he was active professionally in the high-tech industry as well as management consulting in the aviation sector, raised two children and was engaged in various Israeli and Jewish community activities throughout Northern CA.
Amir is a native Israeli but spent his first 10 years growing up in Nigeria, Africa. After his family move back to Ra’anana, Israel, Amir, served in the Israeli Defense Special Forces as an Officer and graduated from the Tel Aviv and Technion Universities. Amir worked 11 years at Ben Gurion International Airport and the Israeli Security Agency before emigrating with his family to the U.S.
