IAC DC, in partnership with Shevet Gilad, lead he Good Deeds Day, brining together more than 250 people. Families learned about doing good and contributing to the community and prepared blankets for Hospice patients.

This week we launched the 'empty nesters' club, a social club initiated by our IAC Engage activities co-lead by community activists. The first session introduced community members with the story of Nitza and Zeevi Rosenweig who survived Katrina in New Orleans.

IAC DC celebrated Purim with a community party for children and families in Maryland with about 350 participants. The families enjoyed Purim activities – such as making Oznei Haman, reading stories in Hebrew, decorating costumes, and a theater show both in Hebrew and English.
