Orit Mitzner

Senior National Director of Programs

Since January 2017 Orit has developed and manages core national programs implemented in over 20 communities nationwide and the organization's strategic partnerships. Orit is leading the efforts to create living bridges between Israeli-Americans and Jewish-Americans through the IAC’s flagship programs. Recently, during COVID19, together with her team, she led the organization strategic pivot to online platform with over 50 innovative activities per week segmented to all ages and from coast to coast.  

Before moving to the United States in 2017, Orit Mizner served for 2.5 years as the Chief Project Officer at the Israel Innovation Institute, an organization bringing innovative technology and knowledge into real-world settings in fields such as Healthcare, Education and Transportation.

Prior to that Orit begun bringing her vision, experience and expertise while working for the Jewish community in Manchester, England (2001-2003), Director of training and community relations at the Shlichut Unit of the Jewish Agency  (2004-2007), Director of Communications and International Relations for the Hapoel Tel Aviv Educational NGO (2007-8), Director of the Social Involvement and Leadership at Tel Aviv University (2008-2011) and as the Director of the West Coast office in Los Angeles, working with the Israeli-American community (2011-2014).

Orit earned a BA in Political Science and Criminology at Haifa University, and obtained a diploma in Social Corporate Responsibility Management. She is also part of the current Hybrid Cohort of the Board Members Institute for Jewish Nonprofit at Kellogg, Northwestern University.
