Growing up in a kibbutz, Galia developed her love of nature, culture, heritage, and community.
While living in Israel, Galia worked with children, teens and adults. She filled various educational and leadership roles, from youth movement counselor to military tank instructor. She expanded her passion onto Europe and America, where she worked at Jewish summer camps, spreading her love for Israel, Judaism, Hebrew, and music.
Moving to the US provided an opportunity for Galia to be involved with the unique Israeli-American community in four different states, as well as to pursue her enthusiasm for rugby, playing for various teams in Israel and the US.
Galia lives in Greater Seattle with her husband and three daughters, and is proud to be part of both the IAC Seattle team, and the IAC Eitanim national team.
