Vered was born and raised in Israel. She served in the IDF as an educational officer, visiting almost every base in the country speaking with soldiers about Israel, its history, culture, current policies, values and ethical codes.
After completing her Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy at Tel Aviv University, Vered worked in the mental health and rehabilitation field for over 12 years. In her different positions, she always strived to give her clients options to live their life to the fullest and become active and satisfied members of their community. Vered managed a number of innovative and groundbreaking programs, implementing initiatives and processes from ideation to the creation of thriving established and essential services.
Vered lives in the Greater Seattle area with her husband and three children. She enjoys traveling, hiking and going to the theater. As an active member of her community and with a passion for maintaining her family’s Israeli-American hybrid identity, she found her place and cause in the IAC.
