Please join us for an IAC TALK with Meir Shalev,

An evening with one of Israel’s most celebrated novelists, and bestselling author.

Meir Shalev is the author of 8 novels, 3 nonfiction books, and several children stories. His books have been bestsellers in Israel, Holland, and Germany and have been translated into more than twenty languages.

Shalev is the recipient of the Juliet Club Prize (Italy); The Prime Minister’s Prize (Israel); The Chiavari (Italy); The Entholomogical Prize (Israel); The Wizo Prize in France, Israel, and Italy; and The Brenner Prize of 2006—the highest Israeli literary recognition.

Mr. Shalev's talk will be: "Between Antiquity and Modernity: Can the Hebrew Language Survive its Revival?"

We will have a short reception prior to the talk with light refreshment.

After the event there will be a book signing and books will be offered for sale. If you have a copy of a book you would like signed, please don't hesitate to bring it with you.

Thank you, Temple De Hirsh, for hosting.
