About The Event
A night of storytelling, delicious food, and interesting people. People Who Usually Don't Lecture is coming to San Francisco for the very first time as an event structured to bring together diverse members from across the Bay Area for an intimate and moving large-scale interaction with storytelling.
The event offers a platform for speakers to share their fascinating, deeply personal and beautifully human stories. The project aspires to expand the spectrum of perspectives which are usually heard in the public sphere or within our community, and to generate true listening with the underlying belief that a good story has the potential to breakdown prejudice and promote social change.
Founded in 2014 in Tel Aviv, this is the first year that this event is being hosted in cities around the world, including San Francisco, New York, and Buenos Aires. Speakers to be announced.
