Benjamin Strauss is a corporate and securities partner at Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Delaware office. He heads the firm’s Israeli and Delaware corporate practices, and concentrates his practice on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and general corporate and business matters. Representative engagements include: Representing a large Israeli private holding company in the sale of its controlling ownership in a
NYSE energy company. He is US counsel to several Israeli companies traded on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. Benjamin is also US and Delaware counsel in hundreds of equity transactions involving Israeli-based Delaware
entities. He is US counsel to board committee in connection with a $ 1 billion purchase of publicly held equity in Delaware entities by the controlling European financial services company. He is the General U.S. counsel to a multi-billion-dollar global conglomerate headquartered in Europe. 

Mr. Strauss is past president of the Delaware State Bar Association and currently serves as its representative to the ABA House of Delegates, and as Board Member and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Delaware State Bar Foundation. He also serves as Chair of the Israel Committee of Hillel of Greater Philadelphia and as member of the Philadelphia regional council of the Israeli-American Council. Mr. Strauss received his law degree, magna cum laude, from Widener University School of Law in Delaware. Mr. Strauss also holds a B.A. in economics and an MBA in marketing from the Bar Ilan University in Israel. He is admitted to practice in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, and before the United States Supreme Court.
