Abraham Shamir obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from Columbia University, after 10 years of a military career in the IDF in combat units, attaining the rank of Major.  Aby is a global pharmaceutical leader possessing world class expertise in all phases of vaccines and biologics manufacturing. During his extensive leadership career with Merck & Company Abraham supported the growth of the vaccine business from $300 MM to more than $5 billion.  Currently Aby is a sole owner of a consulting firm Shamir Biologics LLC.  Aby enjoys Cycling, Tennis and cooking.  Aby is married to Liz, a Financial Advisor, has three children and two Grandchildren.
