Orly Chen

New Jersey Regional Council

Orly Chen was born in Israel and moved to the United States in 1989. She has lived in Bergen County as a resident of Tenafly since the mid-nineties. Ms. Chen has long been a dedicated community member to both the Bergen County community and to the Israeli/Jewish community within it. She serves as a board member for the JCC in Tenafly and chairs the Israeli Department of the JCC and she is a member of Chabad of Tenafly.

Throughout her years in Tenafly, Ms. Chen has served various philanthropic efforts and has chaired and served on various committees including Lavish lunches that raise money for seniors throughout Bergen County, Larger Than Life USA, which raises funds for Israeli children who are battling cancer, and Jewish teen committees. Ms. Chen’s children all attended Jewish schools, including Solomon Schechter in New Milford, Frisch Modern Orthodox Yeshiva School, and SAR Yeshiva High School in Bronx, NY.  Ms. Chen and her family have been longtime supporters of each of these schools and the organizations within them. Professionally, Ms. Chen has worked as a real estate agent for ReMax Properties Plus in Tenafly since 2004. She holds a BA in accounting.
