Sharon Eyny is the NY Regional Director at the IAC. Born in Tel Aviv, Sharon moved to New York with her family at age 8, but returned to her homeland when she was 17 to become an Officer with the Israeli Defense Force. During her 4-year service, Sharon’s responsibilities included conducting research surveys, implementing recruitment marketing plans, and counseling army personnel.
After completing her B.A. in Psychology at Tel Aviv University, Sharon returned to New York to pursue her MA in Social Work at Columbia University and – driven by her desire to help individuals – she accepted the position of Director of the Egg Donor Program at Columbia University in 2005, which under her guidance became one of the USA’s largest and most successful Egg Donor Programs.
This mission to help others then led Sharon to start her own company in 2011, GIDNY, which specializes in assisting out-of-town clients with high-end concierge needs including Relocation; Event Planning; Business Development; Entertainment & Tourism. By utilizing her skills, experience and numerous contacts throughout New York, Sharon has assisted countless families navigate the complex process of setting into this cosmopolitan city.
Sharon has made New York her home and resides in the Upper West Side with her 10-year old son Daniel.
