Paul Motenko is currently Chairman and CEO of Stacked Restaurants, LLC., a company that operates five STACKED:  Food Well Built restaurants in Southern California.  STACKED offers burgers, salads, sandwiches and mac ‘n’ cheese in a create-your-own menu format.  STACKED also offers appetizers, sides and desserts as well as a full bar.  Guests utilize table-top iPads to choose between dozens of ingredients to create their meal with exactly the flavors they like best.  Stacked Restaurants received the first annual Technology Innovator of the Year Award by the National Restaurant Association and was designated a “Hot Concept” for 2012 by Nation’s Restaurant News.

Mr. Motenko’s prior restaurant experience includes 18 years as Co-Founder and Co-CEO of BJ’s Restaurants, Inc.  He took the company public in 1996, and built it into one of the most successful national restaurant brands in the US, with almost 200 high-volume restaurants currently operating from coast to coast. 

Mr. Motenko is very involved in a variety of charitable causes, most significant of which is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where he has served as President of the Orange County Chapter for the past 8 years. 

Mr. Motenko currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cerritos Chamber of Commerce and the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce and is President of the Golden West College Foundation.
