Jill Moskowitz is an experienced Jewish Communal Professional who has worked for decades both in America and in Israel, where she resided for 10 years. She is currently the National Director of Development for the Israeli American Council. Previous positions include: Senior Vice President for Global and Israel Philanthropy at the Jewish Agency for Israel, the Mid Atlantic Executive Director for the American Friends of The Hebrew University, Director of North American Affairs at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Director of Missions and Visitors at JDC-Israel, and National Director of Development for BBYO, Inc. Additionally, Jill was the architect in design and implementation of the award winning “Gateways” Jewish Education model in Washington DC for newly arrived immigrants from FSU. Jill also worked for many years in the Jewish Community Center field, and served as the founding Executive Director of the Washington DC Jewish Community Center.
In addition, Jill is a cantorial soloist and singer/songwriter with years of songleading experience in synagogues, centers and camps. She has two popular recordings: Bo’ee Kallah: Shabbat Songs for Young Children and Miracles: Chanukah and Passover Songs for Kids.
