Gal Fox was born in Netanya and raised in Bitan Aharon, Israel. A tiny village (Only 36 families) that focused on agriculture in the heart of the Sharon region. Gal is the 14th generation in his family that was born in Israel. He served as a staff sergeant in an Elite Paratrooper Special Forces unit. Gal holds bachelor’s Tourism management from Derby University as well as an M.B.A from Western Governors University.

Gal has served for 15 years in numerus operational and logistical managerial positions in both Israel and the USA. Most notably, Gal led Yedioth Aharonot America’s distribution department for 7 years in New York before moving to Ohio.

Gal has moved to the US in 2008 for his wife PhD program in New York University. Since 2015 Gal is living in Shaker Heights, Ohio with his wife, Einav, who holds a Visiting assistant position at the Case Western Reserve History department, and two children – Adam and Alma .
