Mazal Hadad was born and raised in Bee'r Sheva, Israel. Hadad received a Bachelor's Degree in Art and Design from UCLA. She has been married for almost 30 years with her husband Victor. They have 3 beautiful children. Both her and her husband support the orthodox community in the valley by establishing the Bnei Akiva in Tarzana along with 2 shalichim who run the activities full time.
