A former intelligence officer, with the rank of Captain, in the Israeli Air Force, Idan led a unit that designed technology-based architecture and deployed communication systems throughout the Israeli military. He expanded the capabilities of a cyber-protected infrastructure that supported both air and ground operations.
Upon retiring from the military, Idan joined Pelephone, the first provider of mobile telephony services in Israel. Idan ensured that mobile devices and networks were protected from cyberattacks. He accelerated the adoption of secure mobility by both government and private sectorclients and realized an 8% year-over-year (YoY) increase in revenue.
Later, Idan joined Nation-E, a global leader in cybersecurity and infrastructure, as the company’s chief information officer. As CIO, he built a high performing team of security experts to manage the cybersecurity strategy and architecture across Europe, the Middle East, and North America. He was subsequently named chief technology officer for the company’s global headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, and in 2015, he was tapped by executive management to lead the company’s US operations and to become the global CEO. In 2017 Idan was recruited by Trustifi as a CEO and led the company until 2020. In 2021 Idan serves on several boards of high tech companies in various industries.
