Shimon Shkury is the founder and managing member of Ariel Property Advisors, a New York City investment property sales firm with an expertise in the multifamily asset class and development sites. In this role, he oversees all investment sales and research operations for the company.

Since 2002, Mr. Shkury and his team have advised private clients, institutions, operators, equity providers and lenders on pricing, positioning and selling assets throughout New York City. Together they have closed more than 410 transactions consisting of more than 585 properties and have provided valuation services to clients on more than 5,530 properties with an estimated value of over $16 billion.Prior to starting Ariel Property Advisors, Mr. Shkury was a Partner with Massey Knakal Realty Services.

Originally from Israel, he came to the United States in 1999 to earn an MBA in finance at the Wharton School of Business and a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. He previously served as a lieutenant in the Israeli Defense Force. Mr. Shkury lives in Manhattan with his wife, son and daughter, and devotes much of his spare time and resources to professional and non-profit organizations.
