Anne Bayefsky

Anne Bayefsky is the Director of the Touro Institute on Human Rights and the Holocaust, and President of Human Rights Voices.  With over 200,000 twitter followers, 11 books, and regular contributions to media outlets in North America, Israel and Europe. Professor Bayefsky is a leading expert on modern antisemitism and the United Nations. For her contributions to combating antisemitism and promoting human rights, among other things, she has been awarded the Ben Hecht Award for Outstanding Journalism by the Zionist Organization of America and Canada’s premier human rights fellowship, the Bora Laskin National Fellowship in Human Rights Research.  She is a member of the International Law Association's Committee on Human Rights. For over three decades, she has served as a delegate of many organizations, including the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists and the American Society of International Law, at UN conferences worldwide.  She was educated at the University of Toronto and Oxford University, and is a barrister and solicitor of the Ontario Bar.
