Rabbi Benji Levy

CEO, Mosaic United

Benjamin Levy was appointed CEO of Mosaic United after serving for 5 years as the Dean of Moriah College in Sydney Australia, one of the largest Jewish schools in the world with over 1,800 pre-kindergarten through high school students. At Moriah College, Levy created a renaissance in Jewish Life and Learning and was instrumental in growing the teen-Israel program by over 500%. Levy was recently awarded the ‘Educator of the Year Award’ for his leadership and service, and founded several successful programs including the Kesher Academy for adult education, Mikolot: Voices of the Future international public speaking competition and the Shalhevet International Leadership Incubator.

He holds a BA in Media and Communications and Honors in Jewish Civilization Thought & Culture from the University of Sydney (USYD), an Education degree from Herzog College in Israel, and Yoreh Yoreh Semicha (rabbinic ordination) following his study at Yeshivat Har Etzion. He completed the Principal’s Program at the Lookstein Centre in Bar Ilan University in Israel and is currently writing his PhD in Jewish philosophy for which he received the Australian Postgraduate Award.
