Major General (Ret.)  Moshe Kaplinsky served his country for thirty two years in various positions in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), including the General Commander of the Central Command and  Military Secretary to the Prime Minister. In his last position he served as the Deputy Chief of the General Staff. Since retiring from the IDF in 2007, Mr. Kaplinsky served as the CEO of Better Place Israel, and is currently the CEO of Nesher Israel Cement Enterprises, Israel's leading cement industry.

Kaplinsky, 62, is married and a father of two and a grandfather of three.
