Eli Fitlovitz

Co-Founder, Families of Lone Soldiers (FLS)

Eli Fitlovitz is the co-founder of the Families of Lone Soldiers (FLS) organization together with Dr. Larry Platt, and served as its chairman for 6 years. He is still an active member of the executive board and focuses on alumni and PTSD affiliations. Eli is very passionate and involved with the Jewish American-Israeli community. For seven years, he served as Chairman of the Los Angeles Israeli Scouts and in that time membership increased to over 400 children. He was named a Top Mensch in the Jewish Journal’s Top Ten Mensch List in 2010 for his work with the Scouts. He served as a board member of the Israeli American Council for 6 years and has been involved in the Friendship Circle, AIPAC and other organizations. Eli lives in Tarzana with his wife, Ilanit, and together they have three children. Tal and Daniel are both IDF lone soldier alumni and Orian is studying in New York.
