Dr. Michal Vakrat Wolkin

Michal Vakrat Wolkin is a Managing Director at Lear Innovation Ventures (LIV) in Israel.   She is an applied physicist and executive business leader with broad exposure and passion to deep technologies with a focus on mobility.

Prior to joining Lear, Michal was a technical director at NASA’s Night Rover Challenge, a Member of Research Staff at Xerox PARC (Palo Alto Research Center), a Director of EV battery technologies at Better Place, and 3M head of R&D in Israel.

Michal has a PhD from the University of Rochester and a post doc from Xerox PARC.  She has over 10 patents and numerous publications with thousands of citations.
