The Elite Unit 669 is the combat search and evacuation unit of the IDF - one of the 4 special units in the Israeli military
The alumni association, the Cat, is a team of people who devote their time, and sometimes even risk their lives, to the search and rescue of civilians and military personnel in need - in and around Israel - no matter what their nationality. The Unit’s Alumni organization's mission is to help the Unit's veterans while utilizing their contributions of “human wealth” for the general good of Israeli society

Bar is a reserve combat officer in Unit 669. He is an entrepreneur who established Mishlohof as his first startup, a GPS based app that enabled personal food and supplies deliveries to people on the beachfront. Bar was until recently, the manager of the annual startup competition of Tel Aviv University, and the mentoring program manager of the Merage Institute Alumni Organization in Israel

Bar is the Founder of AFU 669- American Friends of Unit 669, the Co-founder of the Cat Association - Elite Unit 669 Alumni and has served as its CEO for the last 5 years. Bar will present Unit 669, the Cat alumni organization, and speak about what motivated him to establish it and how you can be a partner in the mission of saving lives
