Recently retired from the IDF, after 35 years of service. His last mission was a member of the IDF General Staff, as the commandant of the Israel National Defense College and the Military Academies. Previously he has served as the head of the Israel Directorate of Military Intelligence (AMAN) Analysis Division. Yossi has also served as an intelligence officer at the Special Operations Units.
