Shira Ravin

Director of Hebrew programming at Areivim Philanthropic Group and Co-Founder of Celoptics Inc.

She involved with various programs, organizations and academia to maximize the awareness of the Hebrew teaching profession, connection to Israel and Jewish identity.  Shira serves as the Director of Hebrew Programming at the Areivim Philanthropic group; She was involved in establishing the first Hebrew public school in Washington DC. She volunteers as a council member for the National Hebrew Teachers Association (NAHET). In the past 4 years she served as IAC-DC co-chairperson and now she serves as the Israeli American Council (IAC) advisory committee of KESHET. Shira holds an MA in Language acquisition/ Hebrew as second language from Middlebury College, VT, and serves as a mentor for the MA students. She is also the co-founder of Celoptics Inc. an innovative advance research company.
