Dr, Vardit Ringvald is the founding and current Director of the Middlebury School of Hebrew and C.V Starr Research Professor for Language and Linguistics at Middlebury College. She served as Senior Academic advisor of Hebrew at the Center until 2015. During three decades at Brandeis University, she served as the Director of the Hebrew Language program, taught Hebrew language, culture, and pedagogy.
In addition, Vardit supervised the Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, and Arabic language programs. Vardit is one of the main developers of proficiency approach for Hebrew, and the primary Author of Brandeis Modern Hebrew, Volumes I and II.
