An attorney and member of the Florida Bar since 1995, Denise Tamir is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and Family Mediator. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami and her Law Degree from Nova Southeastern University.  Denise Tamir served as IAC's Florida Regional Director from 2014-2015. 

Denise Tamir has also been involved in the Jewish Community of South Florida as a lay leader for decades and held many positions including Vice Chair of Michael-Ann Russell JCC, Vice President of Beth Torah Synagogue, Founder and Chair of the J's Community Theatre (J-CAT), Cabinet Member of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s North Dade Branch, Founder and National Board of Directors member of the American Friends of Meir Medical Center, and Southeast Board Member of Stand With Us. Denise currently serves on the Greater Miami Jewish Federation Board of Directors and AIPAC's Dade Country Board.
