IAC Bina, in partnership with AISH LA, held its highly-anticipated “Flavors of Israel: Come Taste the Foods that Shape our Heritage” event, which took place at a cozy, dimly-lit venue in the westside of L.A.  Approximately 100 guests had the opportunity to hear the chef, blogger and award winning cookbook writer, Amelia Saltsman discuss our eclectic and rich culinary heritage with Daniel Housman, our IAC BINA Mentor.

Soon after, guests enjoyed a delectable buffet, which featured small bites of food from around the world, as inspired by Jews from the Diaspora who have influenced modern Israeli cuisine. The sold-out event, which attracted guests from a variety of different communities (Israelis, American, Persian, Religious and Secular), provided ample opportunities for networking and mingling.
