Born and raised in Israel, relocated to Evanston IL in 2018. Michal is a community social worker, she has an extensive background in non-profit organizations such as “Open Door” (Israeli Planned Parenthood Federation), and “Kidum Noar”.
Michal worked with underprivileged communities in Be’er-Sheva, one of the things she is most proud of is the community theater group that she directed and which plays were successfully performed in front of the general public.
Michal has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Ben-Gurion University, as well as a Master’s degree in Gender studies from Bar-Ilan University. She wrote her thesis on the topic of “young religious women and their body perception”. In her spare time, she likes to read, travel and hike, she has completed all three long hiking trails in the US, and is an herbal tea addict.
