What better way to ring in the special spring holiday of Shavuot than by baking challot at our Mother-Daughter Challot LeShavuot event! Don't worry if your mother or daughter can't make it-- feel free to bring your friends and/or extended family along instead! (Please be advised- this event is for women only)

Please join us on Tuesday, June 4th, at 7 pm at the IAC Shepher Center for this special challah bake, the rituals of which will be led and explained by a rebbetzin from our community. She will share Jewish insights on the importance of baking challot for the home every shabbat. Programming will start promptly at 7:30 pm.

Light food will be served.

After the programming, each person will be assisted in creating their own challah dough, and will have the option to bake their tasty breaded loaves at home.

The event includes special take-home goodies, in addition! Stay tuned for what's in store.

IAC CARE is proud to partner with the Jewish Family Services of Los Angeles to help battered men & women through their program known as Hope! Proceeds from the challah bake will be donated to this wonderful cause; and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can also donate your challot to these men & women and we will deliver them on Friday just in time for Shabbat!

TICKETS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR. Please RSVP ahead!
