His work optimizes the integration of humans with intelligent technologies in defense, healthcare, aviation, and education. He lives in Cambridge with his wife Irene and twins Natasha and Gabriel.
Daniel’s interdisciplinary background includes degrees in mathematics, psychology, and aerospace engineering from the Université de Paris, the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and UConn. He is the recipient of the University of Connecticut Distinguished Service Award and has been inducted in its Engineering Hall of Fame.
