Avi Glaser moved to Westwood in 2001 from Tivon Israel. Was born in the center of Tel Aviv (Dizingoff& Ben Yehuda). Married to Abby (Baltimore MD) and we have 4 children over 3 continents.
Becca (37) in Kiryat Bialik Israel; Lizzy (34) in Utah; Yoni(29) in Ethiopia and Ben(24) in Vegas. 3 granddaughters in Israel and Utah.
After many years managing HR in Israel I made a career change and own my Real Estate firm as a broker. I also work in the third sector as a specialist in affordable housing. Abby is a senior tech writer who is project manager at MA Dot in the security division.
As a volunteer I am involved with the IAC and CJP (Boston Haifa partnership) and few other boards. From an Israeli proud standpoint: initiated a Hebrew catalog the Hebrew books in the minuteman system (project is lagging) and Studying Torah Together – a Hebrew Torah study meeting for the second year at the IAC every Monday discussing the weeks Torah portion.
