IDF Veterans panel in dedication of Israel’s Memorial Day.  Forty Mishelanu and Hillel students from UNLV met with Las Vegas Israeli-Americans veterans who had served in the IDF. In this special meeting, students had the opportunity to hear about the panel's experience during their IDF service and ask questions.

The IAC was one of the sponsors of a Purim Party in Seattle with about 375 participants of all ages. The party was at the Jewish Day School, and included a costume contest, a short play, face painting, and plenty of other fun stations.

This week we had the honor of hosting Shay Artzi, Chief Technology Officer at Zappix, that talked to us about app development and gamification. 78 Israeli-American, Jewish American and Persian American mothers attended a Paint Night at The Grove in Los Angeles. Professional instructors led the group in painting a HAMSA as they drank cocktails, had dinner, and mingled. Lashon Academy, a Hebrew public charter school and Kadima Day school were cosponsors of the event.

IAC DC celebrated Purim with a community party for children and families in Maryland with about 350 participants. The families enjoyed Purim activities – such as making Oznei Haman, reading stories in Hebrew, decorating costumes, and a theater show both in Hebrew and English.

IAC TWEENS Purim party - 75 Israeli and American Jewish middle schoolers came together this week to celebrate Purim. The party was led by three Gvanim alumni volunteers that engaged 10 additional volunteers from the community to help out and chaperone.
