3000 community members joined us for Israel’s 68th Independence Day celebration. We enjoyed an afternoon full of family entertainment. This week IAC Beyachad co-sponsored in the first time Yom Hatzmaut in Madison. With Lots of fun, interesting conversations and so much good food the 40 adults and 25 children, the small community had an amazing time celebrating Israel. Boston's Eitanim, focused on designing projects in the community. We had the honor of hosting Ilan Segev, Co-chair of IAC Boston who presented the IAC’s mission statement followed by a presentation about project management in the community. The students then designed projects that corresponds with the organization’s goals.

IAC Mishelanu partnered with CSUN Hillel and the CSUN Veteran Association to commemorate Yom HaZikaron with a Soldiers Speak panel on campus. 30 students came together to memorialize the fallen through prayers and listening to the stories of their peers who served in the IDF and the American military.

The Las Vegas community enjoyed a happy and cheerful Yom Haatzmaut street kick off party, organized by volunteers and IAC team. Israeli music, Israeli dancing, Israeli food and having each other was everything we needed to celebrate Israel's 68th birthday and get us all ready for the Celebrate Israel Festival.

The Israel Remembrance Day ceremony of IAC NJ at the Kaplen JCC in Tenafly attracted 700 people. The event also brought together the young generation, of the Tzofim and Hashomer Hatzair Youth Movements, along side with 23 community members who organized the ceremony.

On Yom Hazikaron, IAC NJ, produced and presented an exhibition in honor of victims of terror of the last 8 months, since the beginning of the last terror wave in Israel. The exhibition received much interest in the community and at a request of a large local synagogue was moved to be further exhibited there.
