With thousands in attendance, Celebrate Israel is the largest celebration for Israel in the State of Florida. This year the main stage entertainment was Chico & the Gypsies, and Mashina. 100 Israeli-American and Jewish children attended Chalutzim graduation at the IAC center. Over the course year, the children learned how to speak, read, and write in Hebrew as well as learn about Jewish traditions and Israeli culture. This is the second year the IAC has sponsored this program along with the Israeli House.

Over 140 members of the community experienced an Israeli style Shabbat dinner, celebration of Shavuot and Israeli sing-along. Together with the Jewish Federation and JCRC, the IAC mobilized the community to participate in a solidarity gathering at Max Brenner in Maryland following the terrorist attack in Tel Aviv this week.
