We are saddened and shocked by the news of yet another terrorist attack in France. Today, July 14th, at least 73 people were killed and more than 100 injured when terrorists drove a motor vehicle into a crowd in Nice, France, that was celebrating Bastille Day.

We condemn this act of terrorism in the strongest terms. Whether terrorism strikes in Paris, Tel Aviv, or Orlando, responsible leaders and moral people everywhere have a duty to speak out forcefully against this evil, and to stand against the hateful ideology that fuels it. This is a danger that threatens innocents everywhere.

Tonight, our thoughts and prayer are with the victims, their families, and the people of France who have already suffered such indescribable sorrow.
