Daniel Housman, Founding Advisor
Daniel was one of the half dozen volunteers who co-founded BINA in 2010, to build community by presenting challenging and enlightening content to Jewish and Israeli-American young professionals in Los Angeles. He co-produced and hosted over two dozen intellectual salons with luminaries of social science, business, arts and culture, including former Mossad director Meir Dagan, and Brig Gen. Dan Gold (architect of the Iron Dome missile defense system). Daniel is a writer and influencer who traces his passion for lively community dialogue to his Israeli father and pioneer grandfather, who co-founded the Egged Bus Company and Arkia Airlines in Israel.

Morin Zaray, Committee Chair
Morin Zaray is a second year graduate student in the Zelikow School of Jewish Nonprofit Management. Morin grew up in Israel and while attending law school she worked for a nonprofit called Perach, which connected college students and young children with disabilities through a mentorship program. After moving to the U.S. she sought the same sense of fulfillment provided by her nonprofit work in Israel, and rediscovered the passion for the nonprofit world. Her main interests are Israel advocacy, community engagement and assisting people with disabilities. Morin is committed to improve the connection between Jewish communities of different backgrounds and getting the young professional community engaged with political and nonpolitical Israel advocacy.
